About me

It is agreed that you are employing Full Pawtential to undertake training with you and on your behalf with your dog(s). Lindsey Walker is fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance for undertaking training with dogs. All venues used also have suitable public liability insurance.

Professional fees shall be charged as per the option you choose to book and will be confirmed by email/invoice/receipt of payment. Placing a booking and making a payment of the required amount automatically assumes that you have read, understood and agree with these terms and conditions. Fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel a course, one to one session or workshop after you have booked and paid but before the start of your booking, we require at least 14 days notice for a refund to be made. Any refunds will be subject to a £10 admin fee. If cancellations are made less that 14 days from the start of your booking then a 50% refund will be given. If you book and pay for a course, workshop or one to one session and fail to turn up before or during a course then no refund will be given except in special circumstances. These situations will be considered case by case.

We do not allow any form of harsh handling and we only use proven, kind and effective techniques. We do not tolerate any methods that cause pain, fear or initimidation to the dog. Harsh handling includes shouting at the dog, collar jerking, hitting the dog or physically forcing the dog into positions. Anyone using these techniques will be asked to leave the classes with no refund given. Aversive equipment is also prohibited. This includes shock collars, prong collars, slip leads, half check collars or other pain inducing devices.

What you need to bring to classes

Standard lead (not extendable)

Normal standard collar

A well fitted harness - I usually have some in stock to purchase

Some form of bed/mat for your dog to lie on

A variety of training treats (these will be available to buy if you run out) and a couple of toys

You must not knowingly book an aggressive or highly reactive dog on a group training class. If you have a dog that you are unsure if its falls into these categories then just give us a call and we will be happy to advise you. If a dog is knowlingly brought to group class then you will not be allowed to continue and a refund will not be given. Again, if you are in any doubt then contact us before booking.

Any breed of dog is welcome except those that are banned in the UK.

Training and services

Whilst we endeavour to get the best out of your dogs our main goal is to equip you with the necessary skills to continue working with your dog away from classes or training sessions. To see maximum effect from training you must practice with your dog regularly and consistently.

Advice given about a dog is specific to that dog only and should not be passed on to other people as suitable advice. Every dog is different and what is suitable for one may not suit another dog in a different situation.

Sessions booked outside of our catchment area may be subject to additional fuel costs.
